“After a few days of fun, I finally figured out that I was enjoying economy mode (speed limiter off). Explains the 17mph when I wanted to experience 25mph. Careful for what you wish for. It's significantly faster in power (speed limiter off) mode. Ri-dic-ulous ... in an awesome way. Wish I would have opted for the 2020 model. I think the upgraded display and brakes would have been worth it. Oh well. Love this scooter!”
“I received my 2019 widewheel about a week or so ago and it is a beautiful scooter... but... no speedometer... you cannot switch gears while riding it... and it is very annoying to put it into "ludicrous" mode to go "25mph"... first of all it does not go 25mph and when contacting them for 3 days straight without a response I finally got an email saying to read the manual and then their no return of used scooters policy. I spent $1000 dollars on a scooter that I would like to atleast exchange for something quicker than goes the speed I want but so far it isnt an option. So I might have to eat $1000. I literally went with this company for all the great reviews but this is beyond disappointing. 25mph yea right this thing barely goes 20mph. I have one that goes 15.5 with a speedometer that was much cheaper and it keeps up next to it... that tells me it goes 18mph tops.. such a joke”

After selling this model for so long, we realize that that the controls are not super intuitive but so far we have managed to show every customer how to successfully unlock the scooter. If something indeed turns out to be faulty, we will certainly take the appropriate steps, up to and including a replacement.

“I recently purchased a Mercane Wide Wheel (2019 Version) from Fluid Free Rides. I have several scooters and have tried many others. This one, while a little tricky to manuver, is BY FAR my favorite scooter. So much fun to ride, plenty of power to climb the hills in my foothills neighborhood, and plenty of range to replace my car for running errands.
I've added two important accessories... First, I added a hook to the stem for grocery bags. Secondly, I also mounted a U-lock to the stem, so I can lock it up while entering locations and feel secure it will still be there when I come out.
Bottom line... This is an incredible scooter and GREAT value.”
