“Cool Scooter, however it's brake calipers have been recalled in October 2019 by FluidFreeRide, and the problem still remains unresolved as of September 2020. Brakes exploded within 2 weeks.”
Hi Matthew - We are very sorry that you had a bad experience. We are certain that your brake issue is not related to the recall in 2019 (Safety notice and solution documented in the blog on fluidfreeride.com). Therefore we will closely inspect your unit upon receiving it at our facilities. We have processed your refund which should already have appeared in your account.
“I love it. It's my transportation to and from work.11.5 miles each way. The dual motors let's you take off quick and my 35 degree climb over the bridge is a breeze. The only reason I didn't give 20 stars, is cause I wish I could put some air in those tires. As for customer service, they get 5 stars.”
“If your used to riding those rentable lime scooters, this beast blows those out the water. Accelaration up hill is great as well as top speed. The battery range is not as good as i thought but this could be that I live in a hilly place. Overall a good bang for buck scooter that looks aesthetically sexy. Big wheels take some getting used to but once you do it feels like riding a fat wheel harley but E scooter edition”
“This scooter is comfortable to ride, super powerful, and great battery life. I would give this scooter a 4.99 stars. Only reason taking off the .01 is because the headlight is unusable. I immediately ordered an aftermarket strap on headlight.”
“I never owned or even tried a scooter before and tortured myself for nearly a year reading and watching reviews of every brands and models online. My biggest need was to be able to carry me (200+ lbs) up the crazy steep hills we have in downtown Seattle. For the longest time I thought I needed a power monster, like a dual 1000W to do that.
Boy was I wrong. I eventually was convinced to go for the WideWheel Pro as the best balance between strength & price. I didn't mind the lack or air tires as I'm not planning on offroad trips. I'll always use it in the city and paved trails.
Boy what a fantastic choice. It's not only a blast to ride around the city and the various bike trails in Seattle, when I put it in Power mode it RIPS those crazy Seattle hills like it's no big deal. I went out of my way to go and try the worse ones, and the WWP just took them in spade. That blew me away, and I'm glad I saved around $1000 skipping on the high end models.
If you're a city dweller, especially in one with San Francisco-style hills, the WideWheel Pro should be at the top of your wishlist.”
