WideWheel PRO CLE Edition with keylock Reviews

4.5 Rating 720 Reviews
I've been using the WW pro for about a week for about 5 miles a day. The first thing you notice, other than the wide wheels of course is the power. Even on ECO mode, the scooter just pulls you and makes for a thrilling ride. My daily ride includes a steep hill and the WW pro has no problems climbing and even has power to spare because it keeps accelerating by time i reach the top. The build quality is great, this is definitely not a light scooter by any means, but the weight and wide tires makes it feels stable at about 20mph. The suspension works really well coming down from a 2-3 inch curb but you do feel most cracks and bumps which I expected on solid tires. The only negative, which others have also mentioned is that the throttle is very sensitive at low speeds and I would've liked a more uniform acceleration on ECO mode at least. The instant power feels great, but for an everyday commute with lot of starts, stops it makes for a jerky ride. Overall, it's a very fun scooter and FFR was on top of keeping you updated with shipment notices.

This is my first scooter. Never even rode a rental before this. I was looking for something to make my short work commute quicker than walking with less sweat. It's all down hill to the office and all uphill on the way back, with some pretty steep sections. The WideWheel Pro fits the task nicely. Lots of power and acceleration. It powers up the hills with little trouble, until the last little bit, which is the steepest section. When the battery is less than half, it can't quite make it to the top, but a few kicks to help it out and I'm on my way. The throttle is very touchy at low speeds. That's pretty much the only negative I have. I wish there was more throttle resolution to help maintain slower speeds when needed. FluidFreeRide has been great so far. Shipping was pretty quick and communication has been good. Looking forward to many miles on my WideWheel Pro!

Got my 2 scooters on Friday. I ordered them on the Tuesday before. I believe Fluidfree is the only seller that has them in stock in the US. They feel solid. They are in no way a toy. The display is very clear also. They are heavy but that's what makes them feel so good and safe. Fluidfree communicated well with a speedy delivery. Thank you.

I was looking for something with a kick and I definitely got what I was asking for! The torque is just amazing. I live in Miami Beach where the terrain is mostly flat, but there are some high bridges with "hills" to climb. Even then, I hardly need to take it out of eco mode. This scooter easily pulls you up even if you are not the lightest one of the bunch. But as other have mentioned, it takes a while getting the hang of the throttle. Shipping was fast and Fluid's team responsive to my emails.

I live in Seattle and wanted an electric scooter to get around town, run errands, and yes, have some fun too. So far I've been incredibly impressed by the acceleration, ease of use, and feeling of safety while riding. The scooter is great in rainy conditions despite the flat tires -- just ride with a helmet always and shift to ECO mode. My only hitch at this point is that I can't seem to get my scooter above 22 mph, even in POWER mode. I need to write into Mercane and see if it's just my unit or if I'm doing something wrong as I have not hit 26 mph as advertised. Net net, the thing is amazing and worth the money regardless of top speed!

What an amazing machine. If you've only ridden the rent-a-scooters, when you first ride this thing it will take your breath away. Amazing acceleration and power. I ride in downtown DC and it's taking me some time to learn how to ride it at slow speeds you need downtown. I've read some reviews that don't like the handling but I love it. I try not to need to make sudden sharp turns anyway. I do wish it were easier to keep it around 10mph. It's tough to do that. It takes off when you touch the throttle. I've also found the ride to be quite comfortable. It handles normal city street bumps with comfort and ease. It is heavy. I can pick it up and move it around but its not light. I wouldn't want to have to carry it very far. I'm going to give 4 stars. Not because I don't love it. But only because I think it should be easier to maintain slower speeds. And it's not. It's difficult to do. Otherwise, I love it!

Man this thing is amazing! I drive at least 6 miles a day and man its so much fun riding around San Francisco on this. The Power is there and works great on the hills i need to power through, As for mileage i doubt i will ever have a problem with it as i may only travel up to 12 miles in a day so no complaints there for me. The handling takes a little getting used to with the widewheels and the there is so much power that at low speeds the throttle gets a little jerky when you have to slow down cruise behind slower riders. All in all i love the widewheel pro and would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy comfortable scooter with amazing speed.
