“First of all I will start by saying this scooter is a lot of fun and gets me to work and the beach and gym and wherever so fast it's often more enjoyable to take the long way there, but, and this is a really big but...the brakes are something from a nightmare. They are so bad it's often safer for me to take the rental scooters whenever I head downtown because I've found my best course of action when a car pulls out in front of me is to hope the surgeon was top of his class.
So if you enjoy hair raising fun had at 25mph and want to review your entire life in a couple of seconds every day this is the scooter for you.
The rotors were warped out of the box, they squeal like a dying pig on its way to the slaughterhouse, and it's all around embarrassing when I show up to see my friends with brakes scraping in a cheap sounding way. I also have to give a safety briefing to whoever wants to ride it resulting in a "nevermind I don't want to die" in response...which is how I feel ALL THE TIME but rely on this thing for transport entirely so guess I'll be getting some unexpected cardio until I can buy something better.
Hopefully this issue is unique to me and if it's fixable I'd be happy to give this thing five stars but until then, beware the scooter of squealing death, there's no stopping it.”
