“Widewheel pro scooter is just blazingly fast and fun to drive. The widened tires gives me confidence because its more stable compared to others. The dual motors are so powerful going up hills and braking with the front and rear disc brakes are very strong. Comes with a bell too! This is my first scooter by the way and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for performance. Definitely an A+ in my book!”
“The good: Looks good, build is solid, weight isn't onerous, and the top speed (25 on a slight downhill, steady at 22) is excellent. Brakes seem good, although they are squeaking loudly already (32 miles in).
The bad: Shocks/wheels are brutal on Brooklyn streets. Throttle sucks and is inconsistent. When pushing the thumb throttle there is a 1 to 2 second lag before the power lurches in. Which can be dangerous when you are looking for smooth, reliable acceleration.
I hav ridden a bicycle and a motorcycle in the streets of Brooklyn for the past 7 years (mostly motorcycle). This is a faster but less safe way to get anywhere within a 2 mile radius. Just be prepared to hold on tight, wear a full helmet (maybe gloves too), and keep your head on a swivel. And plan ahead for any needed speed boost.
Probably a better fit for cities where you can ride more on the sidewalk or places with less potholes/chunked up streets.”
“Did research and watched the video review. I live in NYC and was skeptic about the power of the Widewheelpro 2020. I cycle to work and was looking for an alternative means of commuting with the reopening. Immediately tested out my scooter and wow! Even on ECO Mode at 15 mph and I weigh 195 lbs it flies! Yet to use power mode and get past 15mph. Don't think I'll need to based on what I've seen so far. Very happy! Highly recommended.”
