“Well it doesnt go 25mph, it was 25kph. Which was dissapointing. Also, the first week of use and now the brakes have a high pitch squeek, and appear to be rubbing on something, but I have no idea how to fix this.”

the OX will actually go 28mph. Please check for an email from us that was sent when the scooter was shipped. It includes instructions on how to remove the speed limit.

“Super-fun scooter. easily unlocked to 28mph top speed, which is more than enough. Don't see the need for the higher-speed scooter. I usually use the lower gears to keep speed under control and not upset other sidewalk/trail users. I try to stay off the streets still as drivers don't seem to notice (or feel they can ignore) scooters on the road. Still feels dangerous. All that said, I plan to use the scooter mostly in the Colorado mountains, far less traffic, and it's super-fun to get around.”
