“The Mantis is an absolute blast. Super quick and fast (37 mph!). The shocks make for a comfy ride. Don't regret the purchase at all just wish the build quality was better. The rear fender broke immediately. The brakes squeak and sounds like one of the flywheels needs grease (sounded that way since it was new). We've ridden mostly on smooth pavement and we've already got a flat tire...and replacing the tube is a rather involved process. Wish they had more service shops available in our metro.”
“I love the scooter, but the battery life does not deliver 40 miles it although does deliver 40 miles per hour in speed..only 12 miles of battery.. I did some research on the battery and there's a bigger battery which is a 60v that one should deliver the 40 miles we're looking for.. but although if you looking for a multi purpose scooter that your not afraid of traffic on the mantis definitely is a power buy your seen on it and it's fast, fast Enough to maneuver and control your situation with precision and power it makes it a very comfortable ride against your odds in traffic duel wheels slight touch on the power and it moves really fast.it's big enough to maintain stability and control while giving it power..”
“I own both the Horizon and Mantis. They are great machines and I can't say enough good about them both. The Horizon is a little heavier than I want for a commuter, but I like the speed so I got the dolly wheels. The Mantis is my fun. Everybody should own one! They were a great use of my money.
