“Got this as an upgrade from the WideWheel. Never got on with cornering on those flat rims. Unstable in the corners. And the wobbly front bar.
Anyway - this machine is in another dimension. Way more solid build. Very plush ride on proper suspension and pneumatic tyres. And the power is just ridiculous. 70kph on the flat. Twin hydraulic brakes stop with complete confidence.

“What a beast this scooter is...had to dial it back just to ride safely. Night and day difference over the Wide Wheel...the suspension and braking is superb. I'm really on the fence with the index finger throttle, hated it at first and Now I just dislike it; time will tell if I can live with it or find a way to switch it out for a thumb throttle. I took 1 star off as some of the QC could use improvement. Had to adjust the steering bar in relation to the wheel as it was off 6 degrees. Also, the rear tire wasn't completely set on the rim which made a wobble until I adjusted. Peter and Team at FluidFree always respond quickly and provide great support when needed...this is why I will continue to recommend and purchase from them.”
“I received the base model Mantis on Monday. First ride I noticed the rotor rubbing against the brake pads. Not too big of a deal but annoying. By Friday my charger port popped out. So, Sunday I have to take it to a bike shop to repair it. That's going to cost at least $60 and my Sunday afternoon. Was not expecting to repair a $1500 scooter in the first week. On the other hand, it's crazy fast and suspension is great. The lights are amazing at night also! I'm very satisfied with the purchase. So it would have been a 5 star review, but because of the issues, I have to give it a 3. I still recommend this scooter to other people, but warn them about these issues. In fact, a friend is going to buy one next week. Cheers!”
“I got my scooter a couple days ago for it to immediately break and show a red exclamation mark on the screen. Now the scooter won't move. To make things worse, customer service has not been very responsive to help. I've waited months for the scooter and cannot even use it at this point.”

“I originally purchased the WW from fluidfreeride. The WW was great but I was hoping for a smoother ride. It is smooth for a solid wheel scooter but my only scooter experience is with pneumatic tires so the rigidity caught me a little off guard. Called up Peter and he suggested the Mantis. Man, am I glad he did. This thing screams down he road and the ride is unbelievably smooth. The lights really help it stand out at night too. I am still figuring it out - I have the pro version so there are a lot of options to dial it in. One of the best features is the ability to adjust the torque and the start off torque. It can be set to have a smooth take off and then scream down the street. Looking forward to lots of fun experiences with the Mantis. Thanks Peter and your customer service has been outstanding!”
