15 minutes most days is a great place to start. You will start to enjoy the challenging moves and play with them a little longer.

The lift of lifting had reached a cross roads. Continue doing what I'd always done, which meant feeling okay but not really that great because of a niggling injury that just wouldn't heal. Or I could stop lifting all together and start down a totally unfamilar path. I chose the latter and can say that 20 sessions in, it was the right action to take. There's less stiffness, the niggles are slowly becoming less niggly and overall I'm looking forward to training again. To anyone who has also found themselves at a similar point in life, take the leap of faith. I promise it'll be worth it.

I wish I could make this shorter, but I have a lot to say. I'd say I'm a generally fit guy in my early 50's, work out 7 days a week. I have a pretty good system: I play basketball twice a week with a great group, I swim once a week, I hit the gym 3 times a week, and yoga once a week. In general I've been able to keep injuries and issues to a minimum, but at this age, there's always some nagging issue(s). If it's one or two issues, I can deal with it through triggerpoint massage or extra stretching. Knowing that at this age muscle mass tends to decline, I started increasing weight at the gym about a year ago. I've never been one who could build much muscle, before injury happens... but I was paying attention to form and it seemed I was finally making progress... but then everything caught up with me... it wasn't just one or two issues, it was a multi-system failure: plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, golf elbow, nagging shoulder issue, knee issues, tight calves, etc... anyway I went to a postural therapist/masseuse who I'd seen many times before and he generally has the ability to make me feel whole again. He was the one who actually first showed me the GMB website, probably over a year prior, but I blew it off then. This time though he showed it to me again and said "I'd rather you pay the money to do this exercise program than ever need to see me again" - this really hit home, so I decided to try it. In all honesty my workouts at the gym were always kind of lacluster in their creativity, once I find an exercise I like, I keep doing it... unless it causes isssues, which to be honest I knew I had some issues that were holding me back, because the gym always eventually causes injury. So my shoulder exercises were always light on weight. I knew I had no forearm strength or wrist strength... I knew there was always something with my hips (was a runner for 25 years). Anyway I could tell very early on that GMB was different. I'm only a couple months in, but I FEEL stronger, I get out on the basketball court and I'm able to increase my intensity... and intensity matters! I can tell that there are parts of my body that are getting use that really haven't been used enough before. Even my yoga (which is a video I do once a week), I'm able to move more fluidly between positions. Now that's not to say there haven't been issues along the way. The first time I did chair assisted squats per the program, I was surprised I could do them with flat feet and I thought this is amazing - I never done them like this before! But I was sore for days afterward... kind of made hoops the next day pretty rough... but I've always felt certain that more frequent exercise, not less is key to staying healthy. I know plenty of guys who stopped doing sports ages ago for fear of injury or think the answer to my ailments is rest. I've been able to do Elements and keep it going despite nagging issues... the nagging issues haven't disappeared 100% yet, but I can tell that they are getting better now that I'm utilizing more muscles in my body. I think I relied on just a few muscles to do all the work for far too long. Anyway my goal has always been to never say "no" to doing a fun activity for fear of injury or for my body being out of commission. I have two kids and I want to be able to run outside with them or play volleyball or do whatever with them and just stay active! I get too much joy out of sports and activities to just start leaving them all behind or crossing them off my list one by one. I know father time will eventually catch up with me but for the first time I feel like I'm on the right path and may not slow down for another twenty years - HOPEFULLY! Elements has meant less time spent driving to the gym and spending time at the gym... my workouts are quicker AND more effective (even though the movements are slower and more controlled). Looking forward to where the rest of the program takes me! Thanks to Elements I'm feeling great! Thank you!

Initially I thought the approach seemed slow, but after a few sessI realized how intense it actually is, and how much I need it. Strength and flexibility in one adaptable package. Ryan has a wealth of experience. You would be in good hands here too.

I so appreciate how each session gives me full body involvement. This allows the whole body to be involved in any movement. This builds strength quicker then any other method, while more flexible and forgiving, when I push to hard doing other things. 15 minutes a day is as important as breathing for me. I can always do more but that 15 minute routine is my caffeine for the day, in that I always move & feel better afterwards.

I'm 65 and do BJJ and trail running. I'm now on my second round through Elements and am finding the hidden depths - some of which eluded me first time. But at the same time it's always fun and easily adaptable to my ever changing schedule - I get something out of a 15 minute session as much as I do from a 30 minute session. I'm convinced GMB Fitness' approach is great for longevity in the activities I love.
