“Triple Shot is absolutely a great add on to my current training. Besides the variaty of movements I really benefit from the different breathing techniques. Especially the "follow your breath" advise helps me to get a better sense for autoregulation.”
“I've been practicing 15 minutes of Triple Shot roughtly 3-5 times a week for about 5 months.
I love the shorter time options and the fact that it's really vibrant and active - while still based on movements from the other GMB programmes. These two characteristics mean that that it makes having a regular movement practice easy, no matter what. Here's some other things I love about it:
1. I already do a lot of strength, mobility and skills-based calisthenics, Triple Shot has given me a way to add in some cardio, conditioning and more explosive movements, without comprimising my energy for my main programmes or coaching my own movement clients.
2. The tutorials are excellent: you can learn how to do every exercise and then adapt each one to how you feel on the day.
3. It's been a massive help for my mental and physical health - especially during stressful times. It's given me an easy way to set aside 15-30 minutes every morning to check in and look after myself before facing the world and other people.
Triple Shot is convenient, but it's not a box ticking exercise. If you're a beginner I really recommend you start out by adding time to watching the tutorials and try out different ways of approaching the movement, so you can make the adaptations as you need to. If you're open to the process and enjoy yourself and you'll quickly feel the difference.
For me, it's a genuinely positive way to set myself up for the rtest of my day, even when I'm feeling anxious or fatigued. I ove knowing that I always have this available as a pick me up :)”
“This program has been great so far, I love the variety of moves that make it up. It’s a more adaptable and flexible program than many HIIT programs you’ll see around making it much more accessible. Some sessions work better at the shorter intense duration, and some at the longer steady state- but you can choose what intensity works for you on any given day. I even found an old shoulder problem got better even though it wasn’t really focused on it. Genius.”
“I started with Elements and completed both Element and IS. Am into 9 session with Triple Shots...Find it fun but challeging. It's applicable to real world condition while it does have some nice "show off move" like seiza jump to broad jump.... It's never boring so it's sustainable and really looking forward to complete the programme.”
“I've found Triple Shot a lot more interesting than the many other HIIT and conditioning programs I've used. Rather than focusing on how many reps I can crank out, it gives me a chance to do more complicated real work motions with the best form possible, again and again. I doubt I'll ever go back to just burpees till barf.”
“So as GMB announced a new program I was honestly hoping for a harder variation of Integral Strength, especially the rings part. So I was a bit bummed in the beginning but gave this program a try - and I have to say i love it. It has three difficulties, which vary according to the workout time: 15, 20 or 35 minutes.
The movements are refreshingly new and creative, boosting everyday strength and mobility while testing your endurance. I use it as a coniditioning bonus one a week to my calisthenics strength program. Also, the 15 minute elements session works as a nice warmup for this.”
“My experience with Triple Shot has been very positive so far. I thought I would give it a try because I was looking for something to help my conditioning, as I thought that was a weak spot in my effort to maintain my fitness.
The program is exactly how it is advertised, using body weight exercises to help conditioning...except it also incorporates movements that promote mobility as well as breathing for recovery. The breathing is something I have never seen in a program and has been a game changer for me.
When I started I went all out and quickly discovered I couldn't do the breathing. This was key in helping me learn I needed to regulate myself through the movements.
Since I started doing that, I have made awesome progress and can now do the movements like I tried to when I started...but now I can do them better and still breathe well.
I think the thoughtful combination of movements that help conditioning and mobility, coupled with the breathing has been a God send for me. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to improve their conditioning without spending a bunch of time doing the conventional approaches that only hand you repetitive motion without any thought to mobility and breathing regulation that Triple Shot offers.”
