“The midweight webbing offers a different look than the traditional strap from Grip6. I also found that while some of the regular straps have different firmness (presumably due in part to where they came from on the spool), the midweight strap is looser in its feel; it's as though it's been well-worn.”

“This review is for the Mid Weight belt. I have had Grip6 belts now for close to 2 years, they have become the ONLY belt I wear. Honestly, the product is in about the same condition today as it was new out of the box. When I saw the release of the Mid Weight belts I wanted to give them a try, I typically wear items on my belt that range in weight from less than a pound to over 5 pounds. As a result, the standard belts tend to buckle some. Not to the point where they seem to fail, or aren't doing their job, but it's an aesthetic thing. So far, with having my Mid Weight belt for over two weeks, it is a definite improvement. I was initially skeptical as I was hoping it would have more rigidity, the Mid Weight actually seems "softer" and more pliable than the standards. However, they hold up much better and despite not having any additional reinforcement, they hold up very well. Would these substitute as a construction worker's jobsite belt? Probably not, but they have a solution for that now. All told, these belts are awesome, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great quality belt at a very fair price.”

“This was the strap I needed. Just a little thicker and stronger. No more flex or folding from the belt loops on my jeans. Also good for carry.”
