I have been a Grip6 belt-user since the company began, and these belts are top-notch, and exactly what I have been looking for in a belt product. The Grip6 belts are the only belts I have been wearing for the last several years. These belts are well-crafted, strong, and can be adjusted for the perfect fit every time. The only problem that I have ever experienced was that after many months of use, the webbing on the original Grip6 belt, that holds up the back of my pants above the rear, started to bend. You see, like a lot of guys, I keep a lot of crap in my pants pockets every day - like a heavy wallet, weighty keys, and other miscellaneous crap, so my pants are kept quite heavy on a daily basis, and eventually the original belt struggled a bit holding-up the backside of my pants, and eventually the flat-straight webbing under the middle back loop of my pants became bent out of shape under the constant daily pressure. After consulting with the company, I tested-out the new Grip6 workbelt, with their heaviest webbing, and I found the belt to be indestructible - the webbing never bent or buckled under pressure for all of the months and months that I wore the belt; However, for many folks, the belt itself is heavier than the original, and perhaps not best suited for everyday regular use, but rather is better suited for those who work out in-the-field so to speak; So, more recently Grip6 came-up with an in-between mid-weighted belt, which I recently purchased a couple of to try-out, and so far the midweight webbing type of belt seems to be the perfect compromise between everyday use vs. heavy use. I highly recommend all of the Grip6 belts, and depending on your lifestyle you’ll best know which of the three different types of webbing to choose from. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t keep a lot of crap in your pockets, and you don’t need extra strength to hold-up the back of your pants, I would go with the regular webbing. If you’re in need of stronger webbing because you carry a lot of stuff in your pockets each day, I would try the midweight webbing; And, if your work hard, in the field, like a construction worker, I would grab the workbelt. In either case, you can’t go wrong because Grip6 customer service is the best. Whenever I would have an issue or a question, and I would contact them, they have always been very personable, attentive, interested in my concerns or feedback, and always took care of my needs. Grip6 is a great company, and Grip6 is truly the only belt(s) you’ll ever need or want!

I like the increased weight and stiffness of the midweight. I think the midweight is more comfortable to wear but I like the ribbed look and more vibrant coloring per se of the lightweight.
