“While this mounting post is suitable for mounting the retractable hiose reel it could be improved:1. It presently does not have pre drilled hose for the security attachment of the hiose reel and the reel can easily be removed and stolen.2. It would be better of at the base of the pole it could have openings so when it is concreted in the ground the concrete can flow into and set also inside the pole thereby further strengthening it in position.”
“This mounting tube is way to short, I would not mount this in concrete as I am dubious of its corrosion resistance, I would also remove the black base cap to prevent the tube filling with water overtime and rotting out.I purchased some 40mm x 40mm x 1.2mtr gal tube and reused the mounting insert should last years now and overall would be cheaper.It is a shame a great product has been let down with this inferior mount.”

“Because our soil is very sandy we found that we had to extend the length by fixing extra steel angle to sink into the ground. Could this come in different lengths for anyone else living beachside?Other than that - brilliant! The guys love it.”
