“This hose reel is my 3rd reel, it does not have the quality that my first has, my first is still in service after 10 years. Out of the box the hose does not retract fully even though the hose is dry and laying flat on the lawn. The hose when it does retract tends to fail to fully retract into the casing, this would be 75% of the time. On one retraction the whole mechanism jammed. Compared with the previous reels this is a disappointment.The other issue was the reel/hose has very pungent odor, which has not dissipated as yet.”
