“The new evolve is a replacement for our classic model which we have had for many years. Finally gave out. The Evolve is much easier to pull out and retract. Hopefully it will give us as many years service as well.”
“The first reel I received, something was not connected inside the reel unit straight out of the box , and water was just pouring out of the unit? And nothing out the hose.
Received a replacement and sent that one back.
Replacement was great for about 3 weeks, then the unit stopped retracting the hose.
So got a replacement sent out for that, and the old one sent back.
Been using this one for a week now, fingers crossed nothing goes wrong with it.
But it seems the production of this unit may have been rushed out and not fully tested for issue.
If this one becomes faulty, i will be sending it back for a refund. As that’s pretty ridiculous!
Aside from the nightmare of having to
Empty the reels and send them back! The actual customer service has been good. The sending the replacement reel out so I had a box to send the faulty reel back in was very nice and helpful. The trouble shooting over the phone, and the offer of reel exchange to a different model, and refund have all been offered which has been nice.”
“Was very excited to receive our new hose link retractable hose reel however disappointed to find that is leaking inside the case and obviously not advised to take apart to find out issue. Would appreciate contact to assist with issue.”
“These hose reels live up to the expectation of the promotions on the videos. It is easy to use, as long as one gently pulls the hose out, and retracts so easily. My one regret is that i should have planned to buy two 20 m reels instead of one 30 m reel. There is a lot of hose to pull out and the unit is heavy to lift off.
The hose fittings are fantastic, so be interesting how the unit ages.”
