“The original hose reel developed a leak. Hoselink replaced the hose reel. The return process was very smooth and easy via Aust Post returns. I would recommend hose link and its products.”

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Evolve Retractable Hose Reel. I'm sorry to hear that the water pressure has impacted its performance for you. With any Retractable Hose Reel regardless of the brand, there will be a reduced pressure by 15% compared to a normal hose due to the way in which the water has to travel.

“Im happy with the hose reel and new design generally, only thing that could be improved is the mounting system for into masonary (Brick) as we have a new house and the bricks have many square holes so the standard Rawl Plugs that are supplied maybe are not the best for this application as its hard to get solid brick for all holes so you are going into empty space I did use the supplied mounting hardware but could tell some tightened up better than others into the brick work. I do find it retracts quite hard/fast though, I do hold onto the hose connector on retraction but I slow it down when it gets close to the end.”
“We have been using two of the older type successfully for about 20 years and we needed to replace one as the hose had been damaged. The Evolve was an expensive replacement but it has been absolutely worth it. Less cumbersome, much easier to fix if something goes wrong - recommend highly.”
