“I wasn't as happy with these as with different hiker socks bought several years ago. It is usually too hot for the older socks, and I have rarely worn them. But we have had a cold spring and I have been wearing the older ones, and decided to get the lighter weight ones as well. Lighter ones turned out to have a tighter band at the top of the sock. I had to roll them down a bit to make them more comfortable. Ok, but a little disappointing”
“I love that these socks are very comfortable, come half way to my knees and initially worked well at repelling ticks and chiggers. Several months after purchase, they are still great socks, but they do not stop chiggers any longer. I have a mess of bites around my ankles to prove it.”
