For local training, I hike an area that has cows roaming the base of the mountain. And in summer, when the cows are nearby, my ankles get eaten up by fleas, due to grasses. I was spraying my socks with permethrin repellent, which stopped the bites. So, these socks are even better. They have permethrin repellent built into the fabric, which is cool!
