“On my skin it smells like a ton of real rose, not a perfume, but real roses, as if I just walked into an enclosed flower nursery with a million of roses in bloom. Unfortunately my skin chemistry bring out the waxy, oily after-scent (like castor oil left burning too long), that's not too bad, it's faint, but takes away from the rose top note. I only put a dab of the top of the rollerball to my wrist, not even a half-drop just a dab, and I rubbed my wrists together. It was fine the first 15 minutes or so, but around the 30 minute mark and after, the scent got soooo strong I didn't feel well at all and had to wash it off with soap. After washing the scent was manageable and remained for more than 6 hours. The scent is linear (the top note and the dry down are almost identical). Since it doesn't work very well with my skin chemistry, I'll just use it to scent my closet and drawers so everything smells like real roses. “It smells like the cotton candy scent of my childhood Summer fairs, mixed with a very warm vanilla scent, and yummy melted caramel. Definitely a gourmand scent. To me it smells better than the Pink Sugar fragrance and better than any vanilla scent from Bath & Body Works. Better than Parfum de Coeur's Cotton Candy body spray. It's extremely potent: even a drop is way too much on my skin. I only touch my wrist with the roller ball, rub my wrists together and that's enough for the scent to last 12 hours. “I purchased this looking for 'halal' alternatives to perfume (alcohol free). I like vanilla/sweet/musk scents but not fruity or too sugary - example Victoria's Secret Heavenly. If you like any of those notes, you'll love this! It's definitely vanilla. I don't get floral or fruit, maybe a little musk but it's exactly like the name, Soft. Still it manages to be distinctive, long lasting and potent.. I did a tiny half roll on one wrist, rubbed my wrist together, and 4 hrs it hasn't faded. It's only warmed. Actually I can't stop smelling my own wrists!! I would say it's for all ages, definitely feminine, a more sensual grown up version of vanilla/sugar scents.
