“I love the filter, but it came in styrofoam. Styrofoam is so last century. Please look into alternatives. I know we can't cut everything out to protect the planet, but styrofoam?? Thank you. Great filter -would recommend as it's glass- but I wish I had known it shipped in a lot of foam & plastic.
This is why I got the glass in the first place. Charge a little extra for eco packaging/fragile protector/something. There are options out there. Thank you.”

“I purchased the countertop filter which is indeed esthetically pleasing, but as another reviewer said, soak the filter overnight or you WILL have charcoal floating around in your water. There are two spigots; One produces a REALLY THIN stream when in use, and it takes literal AGES to fill up a 32 oz water bottle just to be clear. The other spigot is much less attractive (actually somewhat hideous looking) but will fill your bottle faster. If all you do with this filter is get single glasses of water, the thin stream spigot is your guy. ALSO. When you order anything from this company, be prepared to wait A LONG TIME TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER. Ordered a replacement filter nearly two weeks ago, and still haven't received it.
When I called customer service, I got a voicemail to "leave a message" and someone would call me back. What?? Is this 1997? Please hire enough people to have a legit customer service department so I don't feel like I'm calling some start up that's operating out of their garage somewhere!”

We're so sorry to hear about the issues with your pH RECHARGE Glass countertop filter.
We only recommend soaking a new PH001 filter for 10 minutes and then run water through it for another 10 seconds while giving it a few good shakes then insert it into the reservoir. Fill the reservoir twice and discard this water and your water is good to go!
In case you see black particles in the water, this is the dust from the activated coconut carbon, and this should rinse though with proper prepping. We recommend doing a filter re-prep.

“Just been using it a few days now, but I tested the water pH and it's a half point higher, the alkilinity went from 0 to 60, and the overall hardness has gone down. There is a significant taste difference! After a taste test of the filtered water, I spit out the tap water taste test because the chlorine taste was so intense in comparison! We use a Soda Stream to make carbonated water at home, and it's so much tastier now with the filtered water. It was a bit of a process to set up, but it certainly wasn't hard, and the unit looks very nice on the counter top. We're happy so far! I read some reviews about the spigot breaking, but our package came with an extra one so we've got back up in case, which was much appreciated.”
