“meter giving results that are between 10 and 15 points difference when 3 tests done in a row with blood from same skin puncture. Test with solution ok. New strips. New needle. Clean hands. Results were 104, 92, 89, and 88, 97, and 77. Keto readings were all within .1. I have emailed and called left voicemail with no response. If this is normal its useless and I wasted my money.”
“I definitely don’t like the knew packing of strips. I bought the new meter and think it’s definitely better than the old model. The strips are just annoying, now.”
“I did not give you a 5 star rating because there has been a significant number of bad readings using the new individually wrapped glucose test strips. It was very rare to get a bad reading with the old style strips. When I get a “bad” reading, I double check my blood glucose level with another meter to verify the reading. I also have a CGM that I check about 15 minutes after I get a questionable reading. Being LCHF-keto-fat adapted, my readings are normally pretty stable.
I don’t remember ever having a bad reading with the keto strips (old or new). Overall, I am very happy with the new Keto-Mojo meter. The accuracy seems to be good, but I am disappointed with the precision. My perception of the precision may be influenced by the “outliers”.”
“There are two points - 1. The packaging is very difficult to open and requires to use a scissor. I used to prefer the one in the bottle which was easy to remove and use. 2. These strips don't work as great as the older ones. They are difficult to insert and had to waste 2 strips as it would not intake enough blood for a reading.”
“I'm new to blood glucose testing. This meter was recommended by my health coach and it was easy to set up, directions clear and testing process painless with easy app syncing and data collection. My husband has purchased his own and we're testing each morning. A strategic investment in our health. Highly recommend this company.”
