“I upgraded to the GK+ meter and boy do I wish I never did that. It's because of the way they package the newer GK+ test strips. They are no longer in a small plastic vial which was easy to pop open and quick to shake out a test strip. The new GK+ test strips are individually packaged in a foil wrap. Its very tough to peel the package and try to get the strip out. A very frustrating effort every time.”
“Not in love with the new design of the meter, the side ejector worked better than the new positioning and the tedious single open testing strips seems a little bit of overkill, and they are hard to get out of the package. I should have stayed with the previous version of my meter. Only upgrade to me was the case.”
“I dislike this new model for so many reasons. For starters you need to cut open each test strip! No bottle to open. The meter interface is not intuitive. And ejecting the strip is not simple the button slides on you finger. Sigh...”
