“They seem expensive to this ulta-frugal gal, BUT are actually the best priced brand I could find for what you get when I did extensive research on the cost of both glucose strips and ketone strips on a cash-pay basis without insurance. I could find slightly less expensive glucose strips out there, but not any individually wrapped in foil glucose strips. Could not find any less expensive ketone strips at all.
To those who don't like the foil wrapping because it takes longer to open a strip -- I felt the same way until I heard an engineer (who works for a different medical testing device company than Keto Mojo) say that the individual foil wrapped ones are significantly more accurate. This engineer had done research professionally comparing the strips of multiple companies on the market, and came to the conclusion that the exposure to air to non-individually wrapped strips significantly reduces their accuracy. Since I heard him, I have changed my feelings about the foil wrappings and feel that they are slightly less convenient but worth it.
I switched from another well-known brand to keto-mojo entirely because of the overall better pricing and value, and am quite satisfied with them. The free app is better than most, as well. Also love the free integration with the LIFE Fasting app. Would love to see more free integrations with Google Fit and other health apps.”
“Very expensive. Most needing to monitor are late 40’s & up in age have great problems opening the foil wrappers. Both reasons make it hard to afford & open foils multiple times a day required for adequate monitoring of ketone/glucose/intermittent fasting for good health. If I had a cheaper option, I would switch. Elders can’t afford keto-mojo strips. Thanks”
