“I have been using a Keto Mojo monitor for about a year. Just "upgraded" to this one because I hated having to look up my GKI on the calculator all the time! This monitor with the app has solved that problem nicely :)
HOWEVER.....
The strips are really difficult to get opened, and even a little bit more difficult to load into the monitor than the older version. But you barely have to wait for them to be ready for the blood -on the old one I sometimes would draw the blood into the strip before the monitor was ready and end up wasting the strip...
Also, the "eject" button is now on the back of the monitor instead of on the side and it is awkward to eject the used strips....
So, the app is improved dramatically -I never even used to use the app. LOVE that it calculates GKI automatically! And you can add blood to the strips more quickly. But, it is just kind of a pain in the neck to open the individually wrapped strips and then eject them. It's all a bit more messy I guess. I commend the efforts on improvement :) When these kinks get fixed I'm sure I will upgrade to the next new model!”
“I am always very happy with the service and how fast I get the strips in the mail! My only complaint would be that they are now individually wrapped. Which is more difficult for my old hands, and it seems like it's more trash to throw away whereas the former containers I could recycle. Otherwise everything about keto mojo is great! Thank you!”
“They work great. The individual packaging is a major problem. It's outrageously wasteful and tearing the packaging can damage the product.
While I understand that there's a market for individually wrapped tests, please, offer another option in containers of 50. Please, please, please.”
