“The new packaging for the test strips has been greatly improved. The perforations that separate each test strip are much easier to pull apart and each test strip package has small tear slits at both ends making it easy to open and retrieve the test strip. Before this improvement, I used scissors to open the packaging to retrieve each test strip. So this new packaging is a huge improvement!”
“I am a senior citizen with less than optimal hand strength. I find the new strips VERY hard to tear open to remove the strip. I have had to start using scissors to make a little cut so I can tear it open. I believe I should be able to open the package without having to cut it first!”
“Strip foil pack does not tear very well. Hard to grip with large hands and tear them straight. Sometimes I have to uses sissors to cut them open, so far I have not cut into the test strip. I have had a couple of wierd glucose readings (like 149 and 130) but retest was back down to under 100, so I have wasted a couple of strips”
