“Perfect upgrade to my breath tester. So much more reliable and consistent. Having the ability to test both glucose and ketone levels gives me much more insight into what my body is doing. Very easy to use and I never get an error - no wasted strips. And best yet, it was covered by my HSA, so no $$ out of my pocket. The app is great, but sometimes I have to restart the app or device in order to get them to sync.
And for those that are complaining about difficulty opening the packaging of strips...I don't get it. Just hold firmly with one hand, and tear with the other. It's not that hard. I guess you've never opened a pack of ketchup or a condom before...LOL.”
“After my initial difficulty (you have to push the strips in until they are seated and then you will see the blood drop on the screen), I am thrilled with my new meter and the customer support I received. Got my first readings today and happy to have my GK+ meter in my toolbox for my Keto lifestyle.”
“I am having issues with it recording correctly and have to use up all my strips to figure it out. Told me I had some really high ketone levels of like 2.5. I knew it wasn’t right so tested again (right after first test) and said .5. This happened with the glucose strips too. Then I had to waste more test strips to test to make sure meter was calibrated correctly by using them with the testing solution. I didn’t feel like I had these issues with the older meter. Also, just fyi, when I used the testing solutions, it said the meter was in the correct range and giving accurate readings. :(”
“Exactly what I was looking for. Great kit, everything I need, and simple to use. The biggest surprise was how good the comprehensive guide is that’s bundled with the kit. Fantastic resource/support when starting Keto.”
“The trade-in process was super easy and convenient, the only issue I have with the new kit is the packaging to test strips. I much rather preferred the old strip vials / containers instead of having these individually packed strips in hard-to-open foils. I had my strips falling all over the place as I was trying to get them out of the packet.
Please bring back the old method of packaging the test strips. Thanks”
