“good but I would have like it better with more jab sticks. Lots of test strips to last a year but not the jab sticks. very limited number of them. I paid almost one hundred dollars for the deluxe kit and not enough jab sticks. Thanks for the opportunity to review.”
“Meter is pretty similar to the previous model and works as advertised. The new individually wrapped test strips, however, are frustrating to open and then retrieve from the foils.”
“I've used it according to recommendations and detailed instructions. I've emailed for assistance and received response that the machine is just super sensitive. After comparing it to medical facility testing equipment it is beyond super sensitive and seems to be 15-20 points higher regularly on glucose monitoring. I would not recommend this equipment for someone that is diabetic or possibly pre-diabetic because the skewed readings will increase anxiety or concerns about your health. The Ketone monitor seems to be much more on target with where the results should land based on diet, exercise etc.”
“I'm only a week into monitoring both glucose and keytones. I am not diabetic, and primarily bought this to use as a tool for when I fast. So far, it is has been great! I am learning what kicks me out of ketosis, and it's surprising. Thank you!”
“The trade-up went very well and the set up was fairly easy for my husband to do. I only had my old meter about a year, so really appreciated the trade-up program. I’ve had no problems with the meter. The strips are more difficult to get out of these packets, but I cut the side of the packet off and they are much easier to get out. I do look at the packet carefully, so I don’t cut the strip…no problem… and the strips will stay better longer. I appreciate the service.”
“Too hard to get strips out of pouches. More involved to set up than the old meter. Insertion of the strips is harder in the new meter. New meter harder to handle than old one. Whoever engineered this definitely took a step backwards.”
