“It’s a good meter, but I find it difficult to open the individual packet the test strip comes in. Also the test strips for the ketones don’t seem to work well. After wasting 3 strips and 3 separate finger sticks I had to give up on getting keystone test. Since they are most costly it’s upsetting to have to use so many strips and not get a reading.”
“Priced competitively and state of the art measuring technology, the new meter (available for exchange with older version) is quiet good. Both ketone and glucose with test strips that have come DOWN in price, I swapped my old meter and like this one much better. I have more confidence in these readings, and it comes with test kit for checking the calibration. On the other hand, the software interface for the phone app is horrible and I can't make it work. Not that it matters much, the meter stores test results, but still...”
“Fantastic... The upgrade is worthwhile: Seems to need less blood, has faster readings and the new strips incl. Individual wrapping give you complete safety from contamination as well as longer than 6 months expiration depending on "Exp date", et al. That's proof these guys GOT the ultimate Keto Mojo!!!”
“I recently traded "up" to the GK+Meter Kit. I don't have a very positive opinion of this new device. It is not as easy to use as the old Keto-Mojo device. It is supposed to link to my phone, but has trouble doing so. The testing liquids result in readings that seem to be off! I'm not sure whether I should return the kit or not. The test strips are awkward to say the least. They are in hard to open packets. I have to use scissors and I am afraid I will accidentally cut one. The strips are tiny and harder to insert into this new device, especially with a bloody finger. Overall, I like this device far less than the old Keto-Mojo. I am currently purchasing glucose strips for my old device. The prices for the strips for both kits has gone way up. I'm sorry, I can't recommend the new GK+Meter Kit.”
