“I was not sure what to expect after I read the reviews in the differences in the readings between the new and the old. For me this was also true. My Keto reading was close, but my glucose reading is way off. So which one is correct?? I also think the old unit was easier when it comes to putting in and taking out the strips. But most important for me was that Glucose reading.”
“I wish I had my old meter back. This new meter comes with unnecessary features like the post meal indicator etc. The foil packaging for the strips are annoying. The main button is too touchy. Nearly every time I put it back in the case and try to close it, the button is so touchy that it turns the machine back on. It just seems like the original device didn't really need to be changed in these ways.”
“I am really disappointed in this new meter and strips.If this had been the original meter I would not have purchased it. All the little strip packages are a pain in the butt. Initially setting up the thing with the date etc was such a nightmare I found myself in tears on 2 different occasions of trying to set the thingup. Yes, don't tell me I can do it by bluetooth, I know I can but don't want to. It shouldn't require you to do it by bluetooth. 2 of the strips have failed to function properly in only 10 times of testing. What's up with that? The literature states it is not for medical use yet you have all these alarms and meal times and all this stuff that is medical. What's up with that. Just let me test my glucose and ketones and get on with my life. I think you guys really missed the boat on this one. I previously recommended Keto Mojo to others but I'm not sure I will. The old meter was really great. I do not consider this new one an "upgrade" in any way.”
