“I miss my old meter, but the new meter is acceptable. I don't like the ergonomic design of the new meter. A very simple feature of the old meter was the slide on the side to push out testing strips. It is now on the bottom which is not well placed for sliding out and it is not as easy to slide... Also, the new testing strips are annoying to remove from the packaging.”
“First of all kudos to KetoMojo for supporting loyal early adaptors by replace the original meters free of charge and making the exchange easy. The new app and meter get great reviews. The syncing is almost instantaneous. My big complaint is the individually wrapped strips. Come on. Bring back the vial of unwrapped strips. Or at least put a starting notch on the individual wrapper. I'm 73. My hands aren't as strong as they use to be. I dont have arthritic fingers and still struggle mightily with opening the strips. With the new meter Ive begun using the Mojo for both ketone and glucose. That means two openings everytime I test. So far I havent damaged a strip but I have skipped testing when I should. Please give me an option of strip storage. Can I unwrap a weeks worth at one time and put them in the old visls?”
“The GK+ meter is easy to set up and use. The app that comes with it is handy to use. The foil wraps for the test strips is a good idea to keep the 50th test strip as accurate at the first one.”
“I was under the impression that this meter was going to be able to check ketones AND bs with one strip---as a "SENIOR" and non techy I question why there needs to be an app---the less I put "OUT THERE" the better for me so I did not down load the app on my MacBook Pro---now I am wondering if it will work--- just seems like a lot of hype to me and I wish I could just keep my old keto meter but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get the strips. Your instructional videos are very good.”
“The meter is excellent. It was tricky to use in the beginning. Wish i could order the lancets because other lancet would not fit in the lancing device so now I have to buy another lancing device.”
“The original meter was quite good. I was ordering new Keytone and glucose strips when I was offered a trade up package. The new meter is just as good as the old one and we Bluetooth it uploads automatically to the app on my phone. I like it so much better it works quite well.”
