“Overall a nice upgrade although not sure why test strips are now individually wrapped instead of all coming in the cylinder containers. This just makes the strips harder to access and creates more waste to go to the landfill. Also, for me, the strips are more difficult to eject from the meter due to the new position of the ejection slider on the bottom. Other than those small issues, I really like the new kit and how it works with the app.”
“The recycle program made my day. The trade up didn’t cost me more than new strips which was what I needed to order. Great customer support too, I had already ordered a new meter kit and emailed them to convert to recycle program and they were exceptionally helpful.
This company is really great and provides great products. They made the pain of upgrading painless unlike some other companies I have used.
The GK+ meter is a nice improvement to a previous product. The app works with both and is really nice to track keytones and glucose.”
“The process was easy, the reduction in cost was great, the device and strips are less user friendly. I like the fact that the new meter is quicker to be ready to test but it is less user friendly. I find the strips are more difficult to insert and the strip ejection button far more difficult to use. I like to use the meter single handed and the ejection button on the back is very difficult to use with only one hand. I do like the activation button on the front and appreciate the fact that the meter automatically syncs with my mobile app.
My only concern is the more difficult ergonomic use of the meter.
