“All received as promised. I didnt want to have to set up the device thru an app. I track in old fashioned journal, so I have not done that and cannot comment. I am glad you now include a control solution. I feel better knowing its calibrated like my old BS monitors. However, the additional strips did not come with a number to compare to the control solution so Im not sure if those are reading accurately. I am slightly bothered that each strip is individually wrapped. I like that it seems more sterile and not as exposed to the elements as the ones in the vile, but there was less waste and it was a tad bit easier to get them out. I dont see the lancets on the website to order? I hope that helps. Thank you for listening”

“I wanted to use the new meter for a bit before writing a review. I had been using the old Ketp Mojo for quite some time & loved that meter & strips, I'd give the Old meter 5 stars.
The reason for the 3 star on the GK+ is the flimsy, cheaper made strips & the awful individual wrappers to open each time. For people with arthritis, I can't see them opening these without problems, irritation, or pain.
Other than the strips, the meter works well & is accurate.”
“Extremely disappointed that there is no option to view hemoglobin or hematocrit anymore. If FDA ruling was that "glucose meters for over-the-counter use should only display the glucose reading and no other parameters like hematocrit and hemoglobin", you could have made it so the meter itself does not display those but they could still show once transfered to the app on user's phone. That would meet FDA requirement as your article laid the requirement out.
Also, when I ordered the upgrade kit, I either missed it, or you did not clearly advertise that it requires new strips. I'm now sitting with nearly full containers of glucose and ketone strips that I either use up doing multiple times per day testing (which I don't need right now) before I send the old meter back, or throw them out. If you'd had offered some trade-in credit, I wouldn't have even opened the boxes.”
