“Currently use another brand Blood Glucose & Ketone meter. Pro's for Keto-Mojo are the app and integration with Cronometer as well as lower cost test strips. The only con I have found is that the test strips are more finicky than the competition. That is they seem to have to be at a certain angle for the blood to draw into the capillary tube.”
“I don't like it as well. It does not link up as fast as my old one did with my phone. The individual packaging of the strips is horrible. They are extremely hard to open. I do however like the fact that now the glucose is transferred to my phone in a normal format. Lastly I could not get my meter to read in 24 hour format.”
“I'm giving 5 stars because I think the product is wonderful.... however., I do not like the individually wrapped straps. Too time consuming and I keep thinking ill tear the strip.”
“Few comments:
1) Light on where in insert the test strips is kind of silly. Not needed.
2) The new packaging for test strips is difficult to open. I miss the old containers. I am sure there are advantages to the new packaging for testing reliability but I have to make sure I tear at an angle to make it easy to get the test strip out.
3) Easier to sync to IPhone, but why does it ask to repair every time?”
“This meter is inferior compared to the original keto mojo. It feels less sturdy, the change in how you eject the strips is a step backwards, the strips are individually wrapped and are a pain, and it doesn’t connect to the app. I’d not recommend this model. Don’t “upgrade”.”
