“I don’t think the new meter is an upgrade at all. The new one will hardly sync and I usually have to calculate the GKI bc it won’t do it. If there’s an improvement that’s made I think everyone should be able to get the next machine free. I have an old meter that’s useless now and I foresee this one needing to be recalled.”
“The GK+ meter works as advertised. I am well pleased with it. I compared with my old Keto Mojo meter and they were very close to one another in reading results. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is that I didn't like the foil packets for the test strips. With that being said, I have discovered that one side of the packet is easier to tear open that the other side. The easier side seems to be a little "thinner" than the other. I still find the packets inconvenient, but I understand the reasoning behind them.”
