“The new monitor is far from a trade ‘up’. The new monitor is a downgrade in my opinion. I have taken comparative readings between original and new meter and the new meter readings are drastically different than readings from the original monitor. There is also a wider range of variance between multiple readings from the new monitor. I have zero confidence in readings from the new monitor. I can’t imagine continuing use as the information is completely unreliable and in actionable as it relates to identifying relationship between foods and glucose/ketone levels. Additionally, packaging of new test strips is difficult to use and requires scissors to open each strip. The new lancet device is also a downgrade from the original. The various settings have no impact on the devices force. It takes multiple attempts with a new lancet to get a useable finger stick. Thankfully you did not require return of the original lancet so I have been using it instead. Whole thing seems like a waste of $65. Very frustrated by the entire situation.”
