“I’m a big fan of Kiki Health . They are a brand that says quality, good provenance and innovation. I’d Heard of nigella seeds before, but I hadn’t heard of black seed oil before. I work in the arena of health is am a Nutrition specialist, so I’m always keen to find out more about new innovative products.This is potent! It has a thyme herb like quality to it, like a medicinal smell and taste. Upon researching it, I can see that it’s stated to have antifungal antimicrobial properties to it. I took too much for me on the first go, which was around half a teaspoon, I then took a days break and I’ve just gone in with a couple of drops. It is really powerful stuff so I am just going easy with it. It had within minutes an impact on my digestive tract in a good way. I have a compromised immune system from having M.E and so my gut is always in some kind of disarray and dysbiosis. This seems like a really good thing to keep in part of my gut health kit. Great job”

“I wanted to try this organic black seed oil because it promises a wide variety of health benefits and I can also put it on my head to help my hair grow better. I am happy to try supplements from Kiki Health because they appear to be a reputable company with a wide retail presence. The Soil Association organic certification, which I have checked, is reassuring.The oil is yellow and smells strongly like tea tree oil. It tastes strongly herbal, perhaps like rosemary. I’m not all that keen on swallowing it neat and think I might have preferred capsules.The recommended dose is 1 teaspoon (per day?), which means that the bottle should last 25 days. The bottle does not pour as well as it might (the top is not the same as pictured in the listing, see my photo), so it’s easy to get oil on your fingers or on the outside of the bottle. The best before date is December 2027, more than three years away, which is great.These are just my initial observations after a couple of doses. If I have anything to report after using more of the product, then I will update this review, however I do not expect to observe any obvious changes.”

“Traditionally, black seed and black seed oil is used as a medicine or for general health benefit. I usually take it on its own, one teaspoon. You can mix it with honey. This will help with the flavour. It does have a very strong flavour. Not very nice flavour to be honest, unlike the seed. It causes a slight burn down the throat. Could be just me as I’m a little under the weather. Based on the taste and smell, it does seem like very good quality.”

The oil has a mild taste and smell with what I can only describe as a peppery aftertaste, not unpleasant.
