It has a thyme herb like quality to it, like a medicinal smell and taste. Upon researching it, I can see that it’s stated to have antifungal antimicrobial properties to it. “Traditionally, black seed and black seed oil is used as a medicine or for general health benefit. I usually take it on its own, one teaspoon. You can mix it with honey. This will help with the flavour. It does have a very strong flavour. Not very nice flavour to be honest, unlike the seed. It causes a slight burn down the throat. Could be just me as I’m a little under the weather. Based on the taste and smell, it does seem like very good quality.”
