“I really like this box and the silica. The only problem I have had is with my cat!! She is a very vigorous when she is scratching in the litter box and has a way of getting some of the silica on the floor. I”

We do recommend a mat in front to help with any tracking. And if your kitty has no issues jumping in and out of the box, you could leave the perforated entrance in place.
