Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I noticed upon wearing my boots that the left boot is quite a bit looser than the right around the ankle and calf. I’ve worn them now so can’t return them. The right boot fits perfectly, it’s supportive around my ankle and calf, but the left is quite loose and my foot does move around in the boot. Disappointing at the price.”

“These boots are lightweight and the most comfortable wellington I have had. In the past I have worn Hunters and muck boots both a heavy boot and cracked at the heal I’m loving my Le Chameau wellingtons”

“This is my third pair of Le Chameau wellies and each pair has lasted 6 to 7 years with tough use and little care - a great investment I think! This time I also purchased a dog coat and it is lovely, really tough outer fabric, soft, warm lining and generously cut. I have a Parson Russell Terrier and the medium is a little big but all the better to keep him covered in bad weather. Thank you Le Chameau for a great service and great products!”

“Love these boots .. I prefer the jersey lining as I wear them throughout the Spring and Summer and I think I'd be too hot in the neoprene ones. So comfortable and no need to break in. I am a size 5 and ordered the 5 .. they are slightly roomy but ok with socks on. Look great so very happy !”
