Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Love these boots .. I prefer the jersey lining as I wear them throughout the Spring and Summer and I think I'd be too hot in the neoprene ones. So comfortable and no need to break in. I am a size 5 and ordered the 5 .. they are slightly roomy but ok with socks on. Look great so very happy !”

“Decided to invest in a pair of your wonderful boots after doing some research and being disappointed with other brands. The Vierzon boots are very comfortable and fit slightly larger calf measurements very well. Hopefully these will be a good investment for country dog walks.”

“Whilst these boots seem well made and are great for narrow feet and thighs, I am really disappointed with the soles - they feel like those cheap green pvc wellies, no ankle support and no cushioning. I will therefore be sending them back as they aren't suitable for dog walks. I expected so much more for the price.”

“Boots are lovely, good fit and nice and cosy. Only giving 3 stars as my previous ones only lasted a few months then they split which isn’t good considering the price of the boots. I did get a full refund. I am hopeful that these will last MUCH longer.”

“Excellent wellington boots, tried the neoprene lined but too snug on wider foot, these seemed slightly more relaxed fit. Very pleased with them, feet warm and comfortable to walk in.”
