Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Received 2 days after ordering, excellent service. When I first tried them on my woolly socks were pulled uncomfortably tight against my feet in the boot, no toe wriggle room. I initially thought I would have to return. However I persisted, walked around the house in them, the socks loosened. Wore on first dog walk next day and have to say they are sublime for my feet, comfortable warm & I can now put them on and remove with ease. Next test is to see if they last longer than a year, which is disappointingly the life I got out of my last 2 pair of Hunter wellies. The vierzonord are far more comfortable than the Hunters, I’m hoping for a much longer lasting wellies too for the price!”

“I bought these as a replacement for my old Le Chameau wellies which I had for about 8 years. I live in North West England - which is pretty wet for a lot of the year!! I had bought 2 pairs of different brands before these which were meant to be good for dog walking - they weren't!! I average about 5 miles every day and to last 8 years is quite a lot of miles - so when I had to buy another pair, I obviously went to the brand that I knew was quality.”

“Very warm! But the calf is fairly tight and I’m a slim build so that is my only negative view. The rest are good, warm lovely colour and no blisters!”

“I bought these for my daughter but they were too tight on her calves. She is an average size 12 and has never had any trouble fitting into Aigles. Anyway, they had to be returned.”

“The boots are fine apart from the return to the foot is very tight, I can’t wear thick socks with them although the foot is large enough to take an extra pair there is t enough room to get my foot in. I would have returned them had I not needed them that day. I will hope that they might get easier to pull on. Apart from that the delivery time was excellent.”

“Excellent customer service from Le Chameau. I had to return the Women’s Size 7 as although the foot was a perfect fit they were tight around my ankle to the point that I couldn’t get them off without help to pull them. I consulted Le Chameau and after a very helpful conversation with the Customer Service team was advised to re-order the same size but in the Men’s fitting. The return and replacement were all completed within a week and the Men’s fitting is perfect.”
