Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“This is my second pair because they are unbelievably comfortable and warm. For that I would give 5 stars. However, this is my second pair, because the first pair leaked after just eight months, a fact denied after 'testing' by Le Chameau. I cannot understand how after wearing them, having one wet foot, and one dry can mean anything other than a leak. But apparently it does. I would therefore give that pair just one star - not fit for purpose and very disappointed with the service from Le Chameau.”

“This is my second pair and as I walk dogs twice a day throughout the year! I have tried many of the best makes of boots and Le Chameau are by far the best, they are comfortable, warm and have great durability, I would never buy any others now.”

“These are my first pair of Le Chameau boots, and I haven’t had them for that long, however I can already say that they completely blow my old pair of Hunters out of the water. They are extremely comfortable, which was the main reason that I purchased them. I walk the dog (Border Collie) for several hours each day through fields so obviously need waterproof boots but also comfortable boots. And so far these have really lived up to the expectation. Sizing wise, I am a UK3 and that is the size I ordered and I would say the are true to size regardless of whether I wear standard or thick boot socks. I also find them easy to get on and off. If you are used to wearing wellies, then you already know that there is a knack to taking them off. All in all I’m a very happy customer.”
