Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“The best wellies ever! And I have had a few, I know these are expensive wellies to go milking with , but when it’s cold at 4am, the isolation helps! Would highly recommend as they would last as long as two of my other pairs and they were £85. It’s forming out the big price to start with.”

“These really are lovely wellies, however they were a VERY slim fit in the calf, even if the strap at the top is open to max, it doesn't allow it it fully extend, I certainly don't have massive calves, so was really disappointed (and surprised) at the fit - the rubber is very soft! which I happen to love, however, because they were so tight and grippy up the leg it would make them baggy at the ankles when walking (as it kind of pulls them down the leg as you walk) This is my personal experience with them, however if you have super slim legs and like a soft lighter weight boot, these would be perfect!”

“SO pleased I ordered these boots! They are an investment as far as I am concerned. The material is beautiful and my feet are so cosy & comfortable in them. I walked for longer than expected the other day whilst walking my dog due to the fact these boots are THAT comfy! No rubbing, no chaffing, just exceptionally well made wellies and I know they will last forever. Hunter Boots have NOTHING on Le Chameau. 10 out of 10! Superb delivery too!”

“Have to say I don't often review things, but I was, unfortunately, hoping for great things with my Chameaus with neoprene lining, but I could barely pull them on! Let alone off! So I sized up and again easier to get on hard to get off... So sadly they are all going back and think I may have to settle for Jersey lined or men's neoprene I am yet to try both, I haven't given up hope yet! Only leaving this review as want ppl to know that the women's style is quite narrow around your calves - and mine aren't particularly big I did the size guide etc but just didn't work for me! A lot of my friends have these wellies so I was convinced they would be the best... Needless to say, they are lovely and comfy providing they fit you!”
