Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I have worn Le Chameau boots ever since they have been available. Disappointed I had to get them online and not from my usual suppliers Lings country goods Massingham Norfolk, it is so unfair on your loyal suppliers they could not get me a pair till probably Feburary. and I needed them quickly. If this is the case again I will buy a different brand that they can supply. Talking to people since it is surprising how many people feel the same as me.”
