Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Well they are a Christmas present, so although they have been tried on, they are not allowed to be worn until the Christmas wrapping is taken off. Will let you know later as to performance, but both my sons have them and they get 5*from both of them. Another 5* for delivery - extremely well packaged and arrived the day after ordering. Many thanks”

“My husband has had both ankles fused due to arthritis making it difficult for him to wear ‘ordinary’ boots. He finally found these boots several years ago. Unfortunately they perished hence getting new ones. They fit pretty well but he has to use insoles he also says the material is thinner than his old boots. Only time will tell how long lasting this pair will be. Apart from that he finds them comfortable and having tried other makes returned to Le Chameau.”
