Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“The fit was too big on the heel so feet moved around a lot causing hip pain. Could not recommend unless you have used the boots before and are confident in the sizing. Size advice given by Le Chameau was to buy normal shoe size, I'd try a size down first.”

“These boots have servilely hurt my leg as the rubber inside the boot has rubbed against my skin and made my skin raw, to the point where I was in pain and had to stop wearing the boots as the pain was unbearable and uncomfortable and I was walking with a limp.”
