Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“An extremely comfortable boot for hours of wear. The special vulcanized natural rubber is far more comfortable than regular wellies. The vierzon is snug around the calf like a riding boot, but the rubber is pliable so it is a comfortable fit, even with trousers tucked in.”

“Bought for spring summer and autumn as a lighter boot, comfortable all day at horse trials ... don?t sweat in them ... good grip .... look good .... and actually they are warm enough for most of winter above 0 degrees .... very pleased..... keep them clean and treated to and hopefully they will last 20 years”

“The boots showed signs of perishing after just 6 months and after about a year one of the straps came off. Given they have had only occasional use and given the high cost this is unacceptable. I would not purchase another Le Chameau product as a result.”
