Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“These were purchased for my 19 year-old grandson who wanted boots that would 'last forever'. More expensive than I would normally buy so they were a joint birthday/Christmas present. I found the website easy to use and my order arrived promptly. Being a 'crazy' grandma (!) so far my grandson has only received a birthday card containing a photograph of one boot! The final part of the gift will be under the tree when he comes home for Christmas. The boots seem beautifully made and I'm sure the wearer will be overjoyed with them.”

“After a number disappointing experiences with the quality of Hunter wellies (cracking at folds), I decided to order Le Chameau's Vierzon boots for my regular 12km walks along the Scottish coastline. The difference in quality is immediately clear, the comfort and fit is certainly equal to that of my former Hunters. A very decent product.”
