Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Fantastic! At last, I have warm dry feet! Unfortunately when I finally decided to invest in some proper wellies I went for another well known brand. What a mistake. Theirs leaked within 3 weeks of dog walking. I sent them back and eventually got a refund. A friend of mine had mentioned she had Le Chameau. I originally ordered the ladies version but there was not enough room in the leg. I switched to the mens version and I am now one very happy customer!”
