Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I bought these for my husband for a Christmas presant so this review is based on the chameau wellies I have been wearing chameau wellies for 7 years,I own a small holding and wear my wellies every day and yes even in the hot summer days,the pair I am wearing now I have worn for 3 years and still going strong,the most comfortable wellies I have worn and owned,I have tryed all the other top names and I am lucky if I ever got a years wear out of them,I highly recommend chameau wellies. Delivery is really fast to.”

“Very comfortable but the sizing charts need work. Even with thick socks, they still run very big for what usual UK/ US sizing should be.”

“We ordered these after the ladies boots were far too narrow at the ankle. These fit my daughter perfectly. If they last longer than the 3 to 6 months of every other type of welly we have had I’ll come back and give them 5 stars !”

“Lovely boots! At first, I ordered the lady's version but they weren't wide enough for my feet (wide size 8 or 8 & 1/2 ). I exchanged them for the men's version also in a size 8 and they were much better. They are wider & with more ankle room which helps get the boots on & off easier but not heavy or clumpy. Very comfortable indeed and the buying & exchanging process was efficient and easy. I would definitely recommend these boots.”
